JESS FRASER

Black belt Jess Fraser is the driving force behind Australian Girls in Gi.  She is fiercely proud to be the leader and creator of this groundbreaking group which is the largest nationwide unified organisation of its kind in the world.

Since establishing AGIG in 2010, Jess has identified and recognised the need for fostering an inclusive, gender neutral culture within our community. Through AGIG she has proactively affected the retention and growth of participation levels within our sport; particularly in regard to female athletes. Jess has worked tirelessly on this goal, focusing on cultivating community development, education and cultural change. She does this by creating and maintaining community, large scale female focused events, online and hands-on member support, mentorship and leadership. Empowering women through training, employment opportunities, sponsorship and more.
